Ian Griffin – Managing Director

Ian has over 35 years experience in the lift industry and has a personal passion for pushing the boundaries in the field of electronics and mechanics particularly where they relate to the lift industry. Ian started at the very bottom of the lift industry in the early 1970's as a lift fitter's mate and through his knowledge, drive and ambition to succeed he now runs a successful independent lift company.

Daniel Griffin– Company Director

Daniel joined Griffin Elevators in May 2006 bringing with him over 10 years experience working as a Relationship Manager for one of the top 4 UK banks. His previous roles included looking after high value bank customers in Europe and Africa. Since joining the company Daniel has played an instrumental role in developing the service portfolio and the major repairs side of the business. In his first 2 years he has also completed the NVQ level 3 qualification for lift servicing. Daniel remains the head of finance, business development and strategic planning and due to his hard work has recently been rewarded with a promotion to Company Director during October 2008. We wish him every success for the future.

Jemma Bridge – Company Director

Robert Chippett – Repairs Manager

Our repairs department is headed up by Robert Chippett, our Repairs Manager. Since completing a successful apprenticeship in 1979 Robert has progressed his career in the lift industry and has worked for various different lift companies both as an employee and a sub contractor. These credentials meant Robert was an ideal candidate to manage Griffin Elevators growing Installation, Modernisation and Repair portfolio.

Sue Blinco– Office Manager

Sue has been with Griffin Elevators since 1999 and knows the company processes inside out. Sue's background is in customer service. She has worked for Barclays Bank as a senior dealer, Boots the Chemist as a customer service supervisor and a local newspaper as an office receptionist. Whilst diverse in many ways each of Sues roles have had one thing in common, the customer. Sue looks after the day to day running of our service portfolio and is the direct report for the other members of the administrative team.

Carl Guiver - Sales Manager

Carl joined Griffin Elevators Ltd in September 2009. He has 28 years experience in the lift industry. Beginning as an apprentice with one of the major companies, upon successful completion of his apprenticeship, Carl became an installation engineer installing both lifts and escalators.

His first move in to the office was as a New Sales Estimator, from there the natural progression was in to service sales, leading to a number of different roles including major modernization sales.

After 18 years service with a major company Carl moved to one of the larger independent companies as a Sales Manager, a role that has developed Carl and given him a wealth of experience in every area of lift sales.
