Griffin Going Green!

Not only do we care about our customers at Griffin Elevators, we also care about the environment we all live and work in. We have recently made a significant investment to our ever growing fleet of vehicles and we are going green! The first of our fleet of LPG converted vans hit the road on 25 th June 2007.

LPG is regarded as one of the cleanest fuels available owing to its simple chemical composition. This means it is a very clean burning fuel, which is important for the quality of the air we breathe. Particulates can accumulate in your lungs and an LPG engine was shown in recent European tests to emit substantially fewer particulates than a diesel one.

As well as being safer for us, LPG is also better for the environment and recent extensive tests have showed that CO2 emissions are 20% less when compared to petrol and nearly 2% less than diesel.
