Griffin Elevators was formed in 1994 by the current Managing Director, Ian Griffin, to provide expert technical assistance to established lift companies and design custom electronics for lifts.

Over the years the company has expanded through its growing reputation and the markets demand for quality of service. In February 1999 Griffin Elevators became a limited company. Since then the company has grown from strength to strength whilst remaining a family owned independent business. Griffin Elevators Ltd was accredited to BS EN ISO 9002 in June 2000 and achieved upgrading to ISO accreditation BS EN ISO 9001-2000 in June 2002.

Griffin Elevators Ltd now undertakes major works for local authorities, mainstream building contractors and independent lift consultants, as well as single contracts for members of the public, clubs and associations and other businesses.

We proudly achieved recertification of BS EN ISO 9001-2015 and BS ISO 45001:2018 in July 2023.
